About Alan: Alan is an electrical design engineer for DSSR, an engineering consultancy in the building services sector. He graduated in 2004 with a Masters degree in electrical engineering from the University of Cape Town. He moved to the UK in 2004 to start his career and to travel. He joined the IET London Young Members Committee in 2006.

About Kerrine: Kerrine Bryan graduated from The University of Birmingham in 2005 gaining an MEng in Electronic & Electrical Engineering with German. Currently working as an Electrical Engineer for CB&I UK Limited, she has been on the committee for one year. She is responsible for organising and managing designated events with the help of other events organisers and the rest of the committee.

About Davy: Davy Thielens is a power engineering consultant for KEMA Consulting, an international engineering and testing consultancy company for the power and utility sector. His background is in transmission and distribution of electrical power and the electrification of railway. In 2003, Davy graduated from the University of Technology of Eindhoven, the Netherlands, with Masters degree in Power Engineering. He moved to London in summer 2006 and joined the IET younger members committee in May 2007 as an event organiser. He is always open for suggestions for new events, so please contact him by email with interesting ideas.
